  2. Winnie is one of my favorites too it's too bad they never gave her an origin or did more with her. She does make an appearance in the first story though.

  3. For me, it's the Sanho Kim story that really stands out. I think it's a real genre-bender. It's the guy's everyday life that's the real nightmare, but he doesn't realize it as he's just sleep-walking through it. And the dream foretelling his death foretelling his death doesn't awaken in him to a desire to really live but a desire just get it over with. What a dark dismissal of human existence! But it's pretty funny too with the supernatural bully at a complete loss about how to handle the unexpected response. That's a pretty inept attempt at face-saving at the end, as well. Very bully-like.
    This could almost have fit in an underground comix like Slow Death, or maybe someone was reading of R. Crumb and feeling inspired.
